The Perfect Food – Bee Pollen

Bee pollen is though by thousands to be the most perfect food that nature has ever produced. It contains all of the essential components of life. It’s extremely loaded with vitamins and contains nearly all known minerals, trace elements, enzymes and amino acids. Bee pollen is also considered to be a first-rate source of anti-oxidants.

In fact, until companies such as Fruta Vida International begin producing products like acai berry fruit juice and acai pulp, bee pollen was known as the miracle food.

Bee pollen is a 100% complete nutrient. When we take it, it helps to balance all of the incomplete and fast foods that we are used to eating in everyday life.

In addition, bee pollen is one of the most ancient health foods in the world.  You can find references to bee pollen in most major religious texts including the Bible, the Torah, the Koran as well as ancient Chinese and Egyptian texts. And one of our most popular presidents, Ronald Reagan, took bee pollen for years.

There are many stories of people testifying to the healing powers of bee pollen. They claim that it gives them increased energy, boosts their body’s immune responses by increasing their red and white blood cells, increases longevity by repairing damaged cells, and helps to cure all kinds of diseases with it’s built in antibacterial qualities.

In addition, people allege that it’s beneficial for the intestines, in that it moderates and controlls the organisms dwelling there and helping to aid digestion and the assimilation of nutrition

But, as in most things, it’s always a good idea to remain as least a little skeptical. Thus far, there’s been no reputable scientific study that shows that bee pollen is effective against any human disease.

But precisely what is bee pollen?

In nature, pollen is produced by the male portion of the flowering plant. As the bee travels from flower to flower collecting nectar, it carries some of the pollen with it, which cross-pollinates and fertilizes the plant. In addition, some of the pollen makes it back to the bee hive where bee keepers can gather it.

And if you’re one of those who is negatively impacted by bee pollen, it is mainly due to the pollen which affects many with pollen allergies.as a matter of fact, there are many documented reports of bee pollen and royal jelly triggering asthma, hives, sore throats, facial itches and even anaphylactic shock in people with allergies to specific pollens. And these responses can occur with as little as one teaspoon of bee pollen.

But the true hidden danger of many people who take this nutrient is that they’ll believe so much in the effectiveness of bee pollen or some other current nutrient, that they will completely ignore the signs that their own body is giveing them. Nutritional supplements should never, ever take the place of consultation and treatment of your doctor or competent health care professional and nutritionist.
